Our Vision
As women created in the image of God and redeemed through Jesus Christ, our purpose is to glorify Him in every season of life and in every sphere of influence. Whether serving in our homes, workplaces, churches, or communities, we desire to live in a way that reflects the beauty and transforming power of the Gospel.
The Women’s Ministry seeks to encourage, equip, and disciple women to grow in their faith and faithfully follow Christ. Guided by the instruction of Titus 2, we are committed to teaching what is good and fostering meaningful relationships that promote spiritual growth and biblical encouragement.
Our desire is to see women firmly rooted in the finished work of Christ, living lives marked by faith, love, and good works. We seek to encourage mothers as they nurture their children in the Lord, wives as they honor God in their marriages, women serving in their professions with integrity and excellence, and those sharing the Gospel both locally and around the world. In all things, our aim is that God would be glorified through the lives of women who joyfully follow Him and faithfully serve others.
Gathering Opportunities
Grace Notes Card Ministry
The Grace Notes Card Ministry is a simple yet meaningful outreach dedicated to sharing God’s love through handwritten cards. Whether celebrating a special occasion, offering comfort during a difficult time, or encouraging someone in need, each card serves as a reminder that they are loved, remembered, and cared for.
On the first Wednesday of each month, our Ladies Circle meets to prepare and send Grace Notes cards to those who are elderly, ill, homebound, or in need of encouragement. In addition to serving others, this gathering is a wonderful time of fellowship, friendship, and refreshments.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Do you know someone who is ill, facing challenges, grieving a loss, or simply in need of encouragement? We would be honored to send them a card.
Please email us with the person’s name, mailing address, and a brief description of the need or occasion. A thoughtful card will be sent on behalf of our ministry.
Ladies Brunch
The Grace Temple Ladies Brunch is a special time of fellowship, encouragement, and connection for women of all ages. Gathering around a table for good food and meaningful conversation, our ladies enjoy building friendships, sharing life’s joys and challenges, and growing together in their faith.
Each brunch provides an opportunity to step away from the busyness of daily life and enjoy Christian fellowship in a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere. It is a wonderful time to connect with other women, build lasting friendships, and encourage one another as we walk together in faith.
Nursing Home Ministry
At Grace Temple, we believe that everyone deserves to experience the love, encouragement, and hope found in Jesus Christ. Each month, members of our church visit local nursing homes to share God’s love with residents through fellowship, music, prayer, and the ministry of God’s Word.
These visits provide an opportunity to encourage those who may be unable to attend regular church services and to remind them that they are valued, loved, and remembered. Through singing familiar hymns, sharing Scripture, and spending time in conversation, we seek to bring comfort, joy, and spiritual encouragement to each resident we meet.
