Our Purpose

At Grace Temple, our purpose is to fulfill the Great Commission as commanded by our Lord in Matthew 28:19–20. We believe this commission was first carried out by the New Testament church on the Day of Pentecost, as recorded in Acts chapter 2, and remains our mission today.

We are also called to live according to the instruction found in James 1:27: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

With this purpose in mind, we are committed to actively sharing the Gospel, supporting missions, caring for those in need, and strengthening the body of Christ. Through our missionary efforts, we have the privilege of supporting ministries in Africa, the Philippines, Mexico, Bulgaria, Moldova, and throughout the United States.

As we endeavor to fulfill this calling, our goal is to build up the body of Christ through missions, outreach, and compassionate service to those in need, both at home and abroad. A list of our current mission endeavors can be found on our Missions page.

God has also blessed us with the opportunity to distribute Bibles and printed materials to many different parts of the world. Through our own printing ministry, we are able to produce gospel tracts and books that help spread the message of Christ and encourage believers in their faith.
